Common questions
What should I do if I knock out a tooth?+

Handle the tooth by the crown (not the root), rinse it gently with water if dirty, and try to place it back in the socket if possible. If you can't, keep it moist in milk or saliva and call us immediately. Time is critical—the sooner we see you, the better the chance of saving the tooth.

Can you see me the same day for a dental emergency?+

Yes. We make every effort to accommodate dental emergencies on the same day. Call us as soon as possible and we'll work you into the schedule.

What if my emergency happens after hours?+

Call our office number—our voicemail will provide instructions for reaching Dr. Bastos in case of a true dental emergency outside regular hours.
